High Fructose Corn Syrup

I'm offended by the commercials I'm seeing about High Fructose Corn Syrup fine in moderation.

The worst offense:
High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) turns off your brain's ability to know the body is full. It blocks that hormone relay. When you intake HFCS at a meal, you will eat 15% - 30% more at that meal than you normally would eating that same meal without HFCS. Its also in the sneakiest of places, like Campbell's Tomato Soup. Since you eat more, you intake more HFCS, ingesting more sugar product, makes higher insulin production, and a higher risk of many popular diseases.

Yeah, there's something nefarious about those ads, like they took a page out of the tobacco play book or something.

Remember, those ads aren't claiming that high fructose corn syrup isn't bad for you, they are merely illustrating that some characters don't cannot tell you reasons WHY it's bad for you.

They illustrate the ignorance of a tv character, they don't assert as a fact that HFC isn't bad.

Bah.
